Cross-Functional Project Manager

Symbotic is an automation technology company using AI-powered robotics and software to transform supply chain and warehouse operations. The Project Manager, PMO will support cross-functional initiatives by coordinating deliverables, maintaining project and portfolio information, managing risks and dependencies, and providing clear reporting to stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of cross-functional PMO initiatives, ensuring alignment with defined objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
• Lead assigned initiatives or workstreams and support larger enterprise programs under the direction of PMO leadership
• Build and maintain project plans, action registers, issue logs, risk registers, dependency trackers, decision logs, and other project execution artifacts
• Own PMO portfolio hygiene across Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence, ensuring project information is accurate, complete, current, and structured for reporting
• Partner with initiative owners and functional stakeholders to clarify scope, ownership, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and required decisions
• Establish effective operating rhythms and create dashboards, status summaries, project trackers, and leadership-ready updates that clearly communicate progress, blockers, and next steps
• Identify gaps in project data, documentation, ownership, reporting, and execution follow-through, and recommend practical corrective actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of project management, program coordination, operations, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, construction, or cross-functional execution experience
• Experience supporting cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders, functions, deliverables, risks, and dependencies
• Working knowledge of project management fundamentals, including scope management, schedule tracking, risk and issue management, action tracking, dependency management, and stakeholder communication
• Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Office tools
• Demonstrated ability to organize ambiguous information, develop executable plans, maintain accurate project data, and create clear visual reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority and summarize complex information for stakeholders at different levels
• PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or equivalent project management / continuous improvement certification
