Utility Operations Analyst | Utility industry experience | W2 Role

Role: Application System Analyst / Utility Operations Analyst
Location: 3 Lincoln CTR, Oakbrook Terrace, IL - 5 days per week onsite (potential future flexibility for hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the CET platform, ensuring pricing, contract data, labor rates, and equipment costs remain accurate and up to date.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT, troubleshooting issues and coordinating system fixes, enhancements, testing, migrations, and deployments.
• Partner with Engineering, Accounting, IT, and other business groups to gather, validate, and implement updates into the system.
• Communicate system updates, process changes, and issue resolutions to users across multiple departments.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage critical data and processes independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
• Experience administering business applications, financial systems, or enterprise tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts with IT teams, even if not performing development work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Utility industry experience, preferably electric utility.
• Experience supporting regulated environments.
• Background working with financial systems, estimating tools, or contract management platforms.
• Understanding of system testing, deployments, migrations, and production releases.
