Product Manager- Privacy (remote)

Hallmark Cards is seeking a strategic and experienced Product Manager to lead privacy capabilities supporting its products and media platforms. The role owns privacy product strategy and execution, drives compliance and privacy rights automation, and partners with Legal, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Business teams to enable secure and responsible use of consumer data.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of privacy-related products and capabilities
• Drive adoption and optimization of foundational data tools, including Data Catalogs, Data Maps, and Consent Management Platforms
• Develop and enhance capabilities supporting data quality management, preference and consent management, data enrichment and profiling, and identity resolution
• Prioritize product features, define epics and user stories, and partner with agile development teams to efficiently deliver high-quality solutions
• Gather, analyze, and apply data to define KPIs, build business cases, establish requirements, and measure product performance
• Build alignment and drive decision-making in complex, ambiguous, and highly regulated environments
• Lead the development of privacy rights automation capabilities, including Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) processes and consent enforcement across systems and platforms
• Ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, APP, the App Store Accountability Act, VPPA, and other emerging requirements
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities
• Implement and champion Privacy by Design principles throughout the product lifecycle
• Monitor regulatory changes and proactively evolve product capabilities to maintain compliance
• Support and influence responsible AI and AI privacy governance initiatives
• Champion a connected, agile operating model that aligns Product, AdTech, Martech, HMK.com, Hallmark+, HCN, and Enterprise Data teams around privacy-safe, data-driven experiences
• Partner with engineering and delivery teams through agile ceremonies, backlog prioritization, and release planning to ensure timely delivery of high-impact features
• Communicate product vision, priorities, progress, risks, and outcomes to leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
• Foster collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful adoption and implementation of privacy capabilities

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical, legal, regulatory, or business concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with experience influencing stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership
• Proven ability to build consensus and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams
• Experience translating abstract, high-risk, or highly regulated concepts into practical, consumer-focused solutions
• Experience developing and managing technology products in an agile environment
• Knowledge of privacy technologies, consent management platforms, data governance frameworks, and identity resolution concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to influence product decisions
• At least 4 years of experience in Product Management, with a focus on privacy and data platforms
• Experience enabling privacy-focused products and automating compliance workflows
• Experience applying privacy regulations and data governance frameworks in a business, technology, or data management environment
• Experience with tools such as OneTrust, OvalEdge, Teradata warehouses, AWS, and proficiency in Agile methodologies and product development best practices (JIRA)
• Experience communicating technical concepts, project updates, and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders
• Experience in retail, media, or streaming industries
• Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), identity resolution, and data instrumentation
• Background in enterprise data governance, metadata management, or data quality initiatives
• Experience driving privacy enablement in cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead through ambiguity
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics through clear, compelling storytelling tailored to diverse audiences
