Engineering Leadership Development Program - Electrical

BAE Systems is a defense, aerospace, and security company that develops products and services supporting national security. The Engineering Leadership Development Program provides recent college graduates with three one-year engineering rotations, technical and leadership training, mentorship, and opportunities to complete a technical master's degree while developing future leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• The ELDP consists of three, one-year onsite rotations; each with increasing responsibility. It is designed to provide diverse set of experiences within Engineering areas and disciplines. ELDP participants are also exposed to a variety of networking opportunities and strategic project initiatives
• The ELDP does provide flexibility for program participants. This flexibility includes ELDP participant input of 2nd and 3rd rotational assignments and/or geographic location but is ultimately dependent on business need and availability
• It is a requirement of this program to complete a technical Master's Degree Program
• Our ELDP primarily rotating to locations within the United States and Platforms and Services footprint
• A mentor is assigned to each ELDP participant to expose them to diverse and challenging experiences, while providing guidance in career development and off-program placement
• The program seeks to facilitate the growth of an individual's leadership skills through an annual, week-long leadership development conference (LDC)
• Participants can also expect to complete a technical and leadership curriculum during the program which will provide a holistic career development experience through a mix of in-person and virtual trainings

• Relocate during the rotational program at least once ensuring experience at a minimum of two of our facilities
• Start at Sterling Heights, MI or Minneapolis, MN locations, with subsequent rotational possibilities including York, PA and Louisville, KY; all rotations will be onsite opportunities
• Start your technical master’s degree during the program with completion two years from your gradation
• Some rotations may be required to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance

Requirements:

• The LDP is designed to accelerate the development and career of highly-motivated recent college graduates who aspire to achieve their leadership potential
• • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
