Position Overview

The Clinical Applications team is seeking an experienced Radiant Team Lead to provide technical leadership, application support, and people management for our radiology clinical application systems. This is an onsite role based at 2001 The Embarcadero, San Francisco, CA 94133 remote work is not available for this position.

This role combines hands-on Epic Radiant expertise with supervisory responsibility, leading a team of six full-time employees and one contractor.

The ideal candidate brings 5 10 years of experience supporting the Radiant module (supporting, not implementing), demonstrated application leadership experience, and a proven track record of supervising or managing teams. Radiant Certification is required. Cupid Certification is strongly desired but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Supervision
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 6 full-time employees and 1 contractor
• Provide application leadership across the Clinical Applications team
• Set priorities, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of support and project work
• Function with a high degree of autonomy as a recognized technical leader and subject matter expert
• Application Support & Design
• Design, build, test, and implement clinical application systems
• Provide ongoing support to clinical users through knowledge of clinical processes, documentation needs, workflows, and clinical practice standards
• Adapt software to meet clinical needs and improve user experience
• Work with clinicians to create or adapt written protocols
• Prepare detailed specifications encompassing clinical processes, information flow, risk, and impact analysis
• Provide customer service, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Technical Leadership
• Serve as a technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas
• Solve unique and complex problems that frequently require analysis of issues without precedent or structure
• May manage programs, including formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clinical stakeholders, and IT partners

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 10 years of experience supporting the Radiant module (supporting, not implementing)
• Radiant Certification (required)
• Application leadership experience
• Supervisory/management experience will supervise 6 FTEs and 1 contractor
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong knowledge of clinical processes, documentation needs, workflows, and clinical practice standards
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy
• Must be able to work onsite in San Francisco, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Cupid Certification (strongly desired but not required)
• Epic certification(s) in additional modules
• Experience in an academic medical center or large health system environment
