5+ years of professional software development experience designing and building cloud
applications.
o 5+ years of recent experience developing REST APIs and a solid understanding of
microservices architecture.
o At least 5 years experience with developing REST APIs using Java frameworks (Spring or
Spring Boot) and Java 11 or Java 17.
o Knowledge and experience working with traditional or document databases such as
Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases.
o Advanced knowledge of software design and programming principles.
o 5+ years experience working in an AWS cloud environment and an advanced
understanding of cloud technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud databases,
CI/CD, serverless computing etc.
o 5+ years experience working with version control tools (GIT, Bitbucket)
o Demonstrated experience working with the following: HTML5, JSON, XML
o Able to work and collaborate remotely, be self-directed, work independently and
communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
o Experience with Automated API testing using tools such as JBehave, cucumber, or
Selenium.
