Architectural Services Consultant - Project Manager - Remote North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia

Allegion is a safety and security company specializing in products and services around the doorway and beyond. The Architectural Services Consultant – Project Manager will promote professional door hardware specification services, develop architectural consulting opportunities, and manage project lifecycles from schematic design through construction administration. The role also involves collaborating with sales teams, maintaining industry and competitor knowledge, and ensuring projects meet scope, budget, quality, and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage the project lifecycle, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, and within scope and budget while managing risk and ensuring quality control
• Assist in developing project scope of services and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility in the development of door hardware solutions
• Promote Allegion brands and architectural services
• Procure project specification opportunities using industry knowledge and network
• Utilize relationships and industry expertise to initiate architectural consulting agreements with firms
• Collaborate closely with the local project sales team on specification projects and market meetings
• Maintain excellent industry/competitor product knowledge by reviewing and understanding market data of competitive activity. Adapt to changes in marketplace
• Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, architecture, construction management, or door hardware consultancy required
• High School Diploma required
• Ability to travel up to 25% within the territory
• Basic understanding of security systems integrations and electronic components
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action
• Strong customer service focus
• Considering candidates in Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Charleston, SC; Norfolk, VA or Remote North Carolina, Remote South Carolina or Remote Virginia
• Candidate may work remote majority of the time but must live within the territory – North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred
