Computer Vision Engineer

Prana Tree is hiring a Computer Vision Engineer to design, train, and deploy vision models for image and video understanding, document recognition, and object recognition. The role covers the full model lifecycle, from dataset preparation and experimentation to scalable cloud production deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, train and evaluate computer vision models for detection, segmentation, classification, OCR and tracking
• Build and curate image and video datasets, including labeling strategy, augmentation and quality checks
• Fine-tune and apply modern architectures, including CNNs, vision transformers and multimodal vision-language models
• Optimize models for accuracy, latency and cost using quantization, pruning and GPU/edge inference tooling
• Deploy and monitor models in production using MLOps best practices on AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Collaborate with product, data and platform teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Document experiments, share findings and mentor junior engineers
