VP of Project Management

Construction Masters is a family-owned, full-service general construction company serving residential and light commercial projects. The VP of Project Management oversees multiple construction projects from inception to completion, leads project management teams, aligns project portfolios with company strategy, and ensures delivery on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards. The role also supports business development, improves operational processes, resolves escalated issues, and mentors project managers.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple construction projects from inception to completion
• Leading project management teams, setting standards and best practices, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety expectations
• Supervising project schedules, monitoring budgets and resource allocation, reviewing project performance metrics, and resolving escalated issues
• Collaborating with executive leadership to align project portfolios with company strategy
• Supporting business development with accurate project scoping
• Continuously improving processes, tools, and communication across operations
• Mentoring project managers, supporting professional development, and promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client focus

Requirements:

• Strong Project Management skills, including end-to-end oversight of construction or related projects and delivery against scope, schedule, and quality standards
• Program Management experience managing a portfolio of projects, setting priorities, and aligning project outcomes with organizational strategy
• Advanced Project Planning abilities, including timeline development, resource planning, risk assessment, and coordination of cross-functional teams
• Budgeting and Analytical Skills to develop, track, and optimize project budgets, interpret performance data, and support data-driven decisions
• Proven experience in a senior project leadership role within construction, remodeling, or a closely related industry
• Demonstrated people leadership skills, including team management, coaching, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication
• Familiarity with construction contracts, permitting, compliance, and standard project management software and productivity tools
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage distributed teams, and maintain clear, timely communication with internal and external stakeholders
• advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP)
