Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Project Manager

HSO is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Senior Project Manager. The role leads D365 F&O implementations from initiation through deployment, managing project scope, resources, schedules, costs, risks, stakeholders, and delivery teams. It also involves facilitating discovery and design sessions, leading steering committees, and ensuring successful client outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations from initiation through deployment, managing all phases of the project lifecycle for small to large-scale engagements
• Drive project success through effective scope, change, resource, schedule, and cost management while maintaining alignment with client objectives and business outcomes
• Participate in and facilitate design and discovery sessions to gather requirements, understand stakeholder needs, and support solution planning
• Lead steering committee meetings and provide clear, consistent communication across project teams, stakeholders, and executive sponsors
• Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables to ensure successful execution and on-time delivery
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing appropriate controls and reporting to maintain transparency and accountability
• Support and guide cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and helping teams navigate challenges throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks while driving timely resolution of issues that may impact delivery
• Build trusted relationships with clients and partners while ensuring a positive implementation experience and high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Managing multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Navigating organizational change and applying change management principles to support successful project outcomes
• Building strong relationships with clients, partners, and project stakeholders
• Prioritizing work effectively and communicating commitments clearly with both customers and team members
• Working collaboratively across diverse teams and contributing to a highly engaged, team-oriented environment
• Solving complex business and project challenges with creative, practical solutions
• Learning new concepts, technologies, and business processes quickly and applying them effectively
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience delivering Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations
• 8+ years of experience managing large ERP and/or CRM software implementation projects and development teams
• Previous experience serving as a Lead Consultant or Project Manager on a D365 Finance & Operations implementation
• Experience working with multiple software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches
• Demonstrated success leading and managing project teams through complex software implementation engagements
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to effectively manage project budgets, resources, and delivery expectations
• Strong understanding of business processes and business process analysis methodologies
• Working knowledge of Lifecycle Services (LCS) and/or Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project
• PMP certification is highly desirable
