Job Description: cPLM Program Data & Process Project Manager

Role Overview

The cPLM Program Data & Process Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading the planning, governance, and end-to-end execution of critical data and business process workstreams within the Mars Corporate PLM (cPLM) Transformation Program.

This role operates across a 70% Data / 30% Process Architecture split, orchestrating cross-pillar dependencies between Digital Technologies (DT), R&D, Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS), System Integrators (SI), and corporate stakeholders. The PM ensures that data strategy, process modeling, and system integration milestones are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with Mars PMX governance and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Workstream Orchestration (70% FTE)

• Pilot Program Delivery: Lead the planning and cross-functional execution of program pilots with a dedicated focus on data readiness, harmonization, and integration.
• Architecture & Data Flow Pressure-Testing: Drive alignment and pressure-test critical data decisions across workstreams, including:
• Golden Data standards for Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS).
• Assessment of PLM data destinations (including enterprise-owned Edge environments).
• End-to-end data flows for SAP PLM, Master Data Governance (MDG), and ERP integrations.
• Partner & SI Collaboration: Partner closely with external consultants, System Integrators (SI), and internal data architects to ensure data governance and technical feasibility.

1. Process Architecture & Cross-Pillar Coordination (30% FTE)

• R&D Process Design: Partner with Process Architects and Process Intelligence leads to define and standardize the program-level approach for R&D business architecture.
• Process Modeling & Documentation: Coordinate and oversee the development of core business process documentation:
• Business Process Modeling for Quality using SAP Signavio.
• Project Delivery Documentation (PDD) using SAP Cloud ALM (CALM).
• Training and enablement collateral across relevant platforms.
• Stakeholder Workshops: Facilitate discovery workshops and interviews to elicit, refine, and validate end-to-end business process requirements across segments.
• Dependency Management: Orchestrate cross-pillar dependencies across Quality, cPLM process design, and Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) to maintain consistency and traceability.

1. Project Management, Governance & Change Enablement

• Delivery & Governance (PMX): Own overall project planning, milestone tracking, and financial tracking against agreed budgets and timelines in alignment with PMX frameworks.
• Status Reporting & Scorecards: Maintain weekly pillar scorecards, project dashboards, and status reports to provide transparency to DT and business leadership.
• Risk & Issue Governance: Proactively identify, log, and mitigate project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) across data and process tracks.
• Resource Optimization: Manage capacity planning and scheduling to ensure the timely availability of cross-functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Change Management (ADKAR): Collaborate on change management strategies to drive smooth adoption of new data architectures and process workflows, ensuring communication and training plans are delivered effectively.

Qualifications & Key Competencies

Experience & Technical Skills

• Project / Program Management: Proven track record managing complex data and process transformation workstreams in global enterprise environments using PMX (or equivalent stage-gate / hybrid PM frameworks).
• PLM & Enterprise Architecture: Experience with SAP PLM, SAP MDG, ERP integrations, and enterprise data models within R&D, Supply Chain, or Quality/Manufacturing domains.
• Process Tooling: Hands-on familiarity with process design and management tools such as SAP Signavio and SAP Cloud ALM (CALM).
• Methodology: Strong practical background in Design Thinking, Agile / Hybrid delivery frameworks, and structured change management (e.g., ADKAR).

• Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technical leaders, bridge silos, and align cross-functional teams (Corporate, DT, SI, R&D).
• Problem-Solving & Facilitation: Exceptional workshop moderation, requirements gathering, and root-cause resolution skills.
• Communication: Clear, concise executive communication and structured reporting capabilities.
