Sales Development Representative

Hostie provides a virtual concierge that automates restaurant guest communications, reservations, events, and takeout interactions. The Sales Development Representative will drive multi-channel outbound prospecting, qualify restaurant and hospitality decision-makers, and secure high-intent demos for the Account Executive team.

Responsibilities:

• Execute High-Volume Prospecting: Relentlessly hunt net-new opportunities across phone, email, and social outreach (LinkedIn, video messaging)
• Qualify & Book: Engage General Managers, Restaurant Owners, and VPs of Operations to qualify their needs across both SMB single-unit venues and enterprise multi-unit groups
• Articulate Value: Educate operators on how Hostie stops revenue from leaking through unanswered calls during peak shifts and after-hours
• Partner with AEs: Work closely with Rev Ops and Account Executives to build targeted account lists, execute account-based strategies, and ensure seamless demo handoffs
• Maintain Pipeline Hygiene: Accurately log all activity, caller insights, and prospect data within our CRM
• Refine Our Prospecting Playbook: Partner with leadership to continuously test and iterate our targeting, messaging, and outreach approach by running experiments and surfacing field insights from calls and conversions based on what actually resonates in market

Requirements:

• Comfortable and energized by making 100+ dials a day with the resilience to handle objections on the fly
• 0–2 years of outbound sales, SDR, or high-volume phone experience
• A genuine understanding of restaurant operators and front-of-house operational friction
• Clear, persuasive spoken phone presence and concise written communication
• A fast learner with a desire to absorb feedback, master product messaging, and rapidly advance into an Account Executive role
• B2B SaaS, restaurant tech, or hospitality background
