JR-195018 Project Manager Senior

Customertimes is scaling its Salesforce delivery organization through its CTO Office. The company seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead Salesforce implementation and enhancement engagements end to end, managing clients, scope, risks, budgets, resources, releases, and delivery teams across concurrent projects.

Responsibilities:

• Own full project lifecycle delivery for Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects, from kickoff through go-live and hypercare
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, running three-way conversations that involve the client, Salesforce (AE/CSM/architects), and our internal delivery team
• Build and maintain the project plan, RAID log, RACI matrix, and status reporting; run steering committee updates for client stakeholders and internal leadership
• Manage scope through formal SOW and change-request processes; track budget, burn rate, and resourcing against the contracted scope
• Coordinate release and sandbox strategy with the technical team (dev/QA/UAT/staging/production) to keep delivery predictable across sprints or phases
• Proactively identify and de-risk issues before they surface — running self-assessments and pulling in the right people rather than waiting to be asked
• Manage 2–3+ concurrent Salesforce projects at varying stages of the lifecycle
• Mentor or oversee junior PMs/coordinators as the team scales, and partner with the CTO Office Portfolio Manager once that role is in place

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Project Management experience, including delivery of Salesforce platform projects (implementation, integration, or managed services)
• Salesforce domain fluency via one of two acceptable paths: (a) PM on Salesforce projects, comfortable with Salesforce delivery lifecycle and terminology, or (b) former Salesforce consultant/analyst/developer who has moved into Project Management. Pure generalist PMs without direct Salesforce exposure are not a fit for this role
• Track record managing external, enterprise clients directly — not through an intermediary account manager
• Demonstrated ownership mentality: examples of driving a project proactively (identifying risk, restructuring a plan, pushing back on scope) rather than only reporting status
• Delivery methodologies: Agile/Scrum and Waterfall/hybrid delivery, sprint planning and release planning, backlog refinement as a Scrum Master or BA
• Salesforce platform literacy: working knowledge of Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / Experience Cloud architecture, standard objects vs. custom objects, and enough familiarity with Apex, Flow, and Lightning components to scope work and sanity-check technical estimates (hands-on coding not required)
• Release & environment management: sandbox strategy (dev/UAT/staging/production), deployment tooling awareness (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or change sets), and release calendars aligned to Salesforce seasonal releases
• PM tooling: Jira, Confluence, ADO, MS Project or Smartsheet, and reporting/dashboarding for status decks (PowerPoint or equivalent)
• Financial & scope management: SOW and change-request administration, budget/burn tracking, time and billing tools
• Risk & governance artifacts: RAID logs, RACI matrices, steering committee reporting, escalation management
• Excellent, confident client-facing communication in English, with the ability to provide constructive feedback to clients and Salesforce representatives when needed
• Strong stakeholder management across client, platform vendor, and internal delivery teams simultaneously
• Self-directed and proactive — this is the single biggest differentiator we're screening for
• Direct hands-on Salesforce consulting or development background
• Experience managing a portfolio of projects, or clear interest in growing into a portfolio/program management role
• Certifications (nice to have, not required): PMP, CSM/PSM, Salesforce Administrator or other Salesforce certification
