Senior Plumbing Engineer (Data Center)

Jacobs is an engineering and consulting company delivering solutions for advanced manufacturing and other critical infrastructure markets. The Senior Plumbing Engineer will design plumbing systems for heavy industrial clients, conduct field investigations, coordinate with clients, vendors, and other disciplines, and prepare construction design packages while supporting schedule and technical quality.

Responsibilities:

• Development of the design criteria for the Plumbing systems
• Layout and design of Plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage
• Development of final design documents including specifications associated with these systems
• Coordination with other disciplines

Requirements:

• This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates
• • Professional Engineering License
• • At least eight (8) years' experience in the design of Plumbing systems
• • Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of Plumbing systems
• • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• • Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
• • Ability to follow lead a building mechanical team on a project and to collaborate with other discipline team members remotely
• • Software experience in Revit
