Salesforce Business Analyst

Cloud Genius is seeking a hands-on Salesforce Business Analyst to turn unclear requests into buildable requirements and verify that delivered work meets agreed needs. The role involves refining backlogs, mapping processes and data requirements, preparing and running UAT, maintaining stakeholder decisions and handoffs, and using AI tools responsibly.

Responsibilities:

• Personally refine the backlog, clarify requirements and write testable acceptance criteria
• Map processes and data requirements, identify exceptions and surface dependencies before development starts
• Prepare and run UAT scenarios, reconcile results and assemble clear acceptance evidence
• Keep decisions, open questions and handoffs current; follow through with stakeholders
• Use AI tools where useful, check their output, and take responsibility for the finished work

Requirements:

• • Practical Salesforce experience and examples of requirements, acceptance criteria or UAT work you personally produced. We assess demonstrated skills rather than require a particular number of years or a Senior title
• • Enough platform understanding to discuss objects, relationships, permissions, automation and data quality, and recognize when an administrator or developer should validate a proposed solution
• • Clear writing, structured problem solving and reliable client communication
• • Ability to complete clearly scoped analysis and testing tasks, surface uncertainty early, and improve your work from feedback
• • US-based, with US work eligibility
• • Solo independent contractor; you personally perform the work. No agencies or subcontracting
• • Hours: flexible 20–40/week, with workload expected near 30; potential to grow toward 40 based on demonstrated need and funding
• • Early-to-midcareer candidates and Salesforce admins or QA/UAT practitioners with strong analysis skills are welcome
