Chief Research Scientist

Cookiy Labs is building the human layer for frontier AI through training data, evaluations, benchmarks, and reinforcement learning environments based on verified human judgment. The Chief Research Scientist will own the company’s research agenda, design RL environments for human-facing domains, publish research, engage with frontier-lab customers, and build the research team.

Responsibilities:

• Own the research agenda of the company, and the roadmap from human data to RL environment to measurable post-training gains
• Design and build RL environments for human-facing domains, with verifiers grounded in real human judgment
• Publish. Benchmarks, datasets, and honest post-training results, including the ones that do not work
• Turn our reach into training signal that frontier labs cannot buy anywhere else
• Sit in front of customers. Our buyers are researchers at frontier labs. You are the person they want in the room
• Hire and lead the research team that follows you
