Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation & Data Testing)

Randstad Digital Americas provides digital technology services and is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality assurance for software workflows supporting legal administration and class action settlements. The role focuses on designing and executing manual and automated testing, validating high-volume data systems, advancing test automation, and mentoring QA team members.

Responsibilities:

• Design, document, and execute manual and automated test plans for multi-tier applications
• Create and maintain robust automation test scripts using Selenium or Playwright
• Perform backend database testing using SQL to validate high-volume data workflows
• Mentor and coach QA team members on test automation standards and practices
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, requirement reviews, and defect tracking

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software quality assurance experience using both White Box and Black Box strategies
• 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience using Selenium or Playwright
• 3+ years of backend database testing experience with proficiency in reading and writing SQL queries
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments on multi-tier systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated project leadership abilities
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Microsoft Visual Studio Team System
• Background working with high-volume, deadline-driven data management platforms
• Prior experience coaching or mentoring engineering peers in QA methodologies
