Role: DATA PRODUCT OWNER
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ Months
They wants someone to be the data management product owner, to own all things data --- data migrations, applications, reports running off it etc
-This project involves the Azure data migration project (run on Agile)
-Current product owner is moving to spark project which is driving the need
-a Lot of the data sits in Azure but some data sits elsewhere and there are number of projects lined up to move other data into Azure as well (ie from SAS or flat files)
This person will work to support these 3 teams (and also the end users that depend on them)
-Data Solutions Team
-Data Engineering team
-Data Governance Team
-This person will help Run agile ceremonies and sprint for the managers
-crucial they MUST be open to doing some non traditional product owner tasks like putting together surveys, could be any random task that is data related
What type of data are they working with? (Financial, warranty data, vehicle sales etc)
Looks like User Stories are very important. Are the solutions primarily custom apps to help them do their jobs or just reports in PowerBI or something of the like?
My opinion we shouldn t sweat Azure Boards, just a simple tool to track the project any IT employee should be able to pick up in 5 min.
