Member of Technical Staff - AI / ML Engineer

Domera Labs builds Ami, an AI companion for seniors that combines voice-first interaction, personalized AI, and dedicated hardware. The Member of Technical Staff - AI / ML Engineer will own the product’s intelligence core, including model training and evaluation, production deployment, speech pipelines, and proactive agent behavior.

Responsibilities:

• Train, fine-tune, and evaluate the models behind the product's conversational behavior
• Deploy models to production and keep them fast, reliable, and affordable at scale
• Refine the full speech pipeline: STT, LLM orchestration, TTS for natural, low-latency conversation
• Build out the agent harness: scheduled actions that fire reliably, proactive behavior that feels right, and the guardrails around all of it
