Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Skana is a U.S.-based technology consulting firm that designs, builds, tests, and operates websites and AI-powered products for clients. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will lead QA efforts across web and AI-driven products by designing test strategies, maintaining test plans and cases, executing manual and automated tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve software quality and delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design test strategies, create and maintain test plans and test cases, and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product reliability and performance
• Collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement in the software delivery lifecycle
• Analyze test results, document findings, and contribute to QA best practices, while helping scale testing processes across multiple client engagements

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with experience ensuring end-to-end product quality in complex systems
• Candidates should possess hands-on Manual Testing and Test Execution skills, including the ability to plan, run, and document detailed functional and regression tests
• Candidates should possess expertise in designing and maintaining clear, reusable Test Cases that align with business requirements and technical specifications
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, and the ability to integrate automation into existing QA workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to defect reporting and tracking
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in distributed, remote teams and consulting or client-facing environments
• Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and modern development practices (e.g., CI/CD, agile or iterative methodologies)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience in software quality assurance
