Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI-Native Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable web applications across on-premise and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer who has experience building large-scale, customer-facing applications and is highly proficient in using AI throughout the software development lifecycle from requirements and design through coding, testing, defect resolution, and deployment.

This role requires someone who thinks about performance, scalability, security, reliability, and architecture from the beginning, rather than treating them as afterthoughts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications supporting a large customer base.
• Develop server-side applications using Python, Java, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Build modern client-side applications using React, JavaScript, Backbone, or comparable frameworks.
• Leverage AI tools and technologies throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
• Use AI to break down user stories into actionable development tasks.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding, testing, debugging, code review, and automated defect resolution.
• Apply spec-driven development methodologies with AI as an integral part of the engineering workflow.
• Review and critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Design fault-tolerant and highly available systems using technologies such as Elasticsearch, CockroachDB, Oracle, MongoDB, and Kafka.
• Build and deploy applications using modern cloud-native technologies.
• Evaluate whether solutions should be custom-built, purchased, or implemented using cloud-native services.
• Identify potential performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, scalability concerns, and architectural risks during the design phase.
• Make sound technical decisions by evaluating trade-offs across competing priorities.
• Collaborate effectively across engineering and organizational boundaries.
• Quickly adopt new AI development tools, frameworks, and engineering approaches as the technology evolves.
• Maintain excellent technical documentation, communication, and organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong professional experience as a Software Engineer / Full Stack Engineer / Backend Engineer developing web applications.
• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies across the software development lifecycle.
• Strong server-side development experience with one or more of:
• Python
• Java
• Node.js
• Similar backend technologies
• Strong client-side development experience with one or more of:
• React
• JavaScript
• Backbone
• Comparable frontend technologies
• Experience developing secure, scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant systems.
• Experience with distributed/system technologies such as:
• Elasticsearch
• CockroachDB
• Oracle
• MongoDB
• Kafka
• Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment.
• Experience supporting applications with a large customer/user base.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP, CCSP, or similar security certification.
• Experience with AI-assisted software engineering tools and agentic development workflows.
• Experience with automated testing and AI-assisted defect remediation.
• Experience designing and deploying applications across both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Experience with modern cloud platforms and cloud-native services.
