Data Security Engineer - IBM Guardium

DataFactZ is a data and analytics consulting company that helps organizations improve decisions through data engineering, cloud platforms, business intelligence, analytics, and AI. The Data Security Engineer will deploy and support IBM Guardium and Prisma Cloud DSPM, manage data security across cloud and enterprise platforms, troubleshoot security operations, and document delivery processes.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience deploying and supporting IBM Guardium for on-premises data discovery and classification, including DAM and Vulnerability Assessment
• Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Cloud DSPM (Prisma Cloud Data Security), including CSPM and CWP
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, GCP )
• Experience with ServiceNow for incident, request, and change management
• Strong SQL/database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Strong understanding of data security, including data discovery, classification, and protection of sensitive data ( PII, PHI, PCI )
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams
• Experience validating telemetry and log flows across enterprise security platforms ( Splunk, Snowflake/EDW )
• Ability to execute and document runbooks and SOPs with audit-quality evidence
• Experience coordinating onboarding across multiple business units, subsidiaries, and diverse network environments
• Experience supporting highly regulated industries, preferably Healthcare and Insurance
• Must be comfortable with client travel and hands-on delivery
• Strong communication skills and enterprise consulting experience are highly preferred
