Senior Enterprise Account Executive (Lead Generation) – SaaS Sales and Digital accessibility

Makonis provides an Accessibility SaaS platform and professional services portfolio. The company is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business growth, build pipeline, manage complex enterprise sales cycles, and own the full sales process through contract execution. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and helping customers address digital accessibility and compliance needs.

Responsibilities:

• Own the complete enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, events, and strategic partnerships
• Identify and engage decision-makers across Higher Education, State & Local Government, Financial Services, Healthcare, Publishing, Enterprise Technology, Manufacturing, and other regulated industries
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer business challenges, accessibility initiatives, and compliance requirements
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and value-based presentations in collaboration with Solutions Engineering
• Develop account strategies to drive new customer acquisition and long-term account expansion
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services to ensure successful customer onboarding and ongoing growth
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity management within the company's CRM
• Represent at industry conferences, webinars, customer meetings and other business development events
• Stay informed on digital accessibility standards, market trends, competitive offerings, and evolving regulations including ADA, WCAG, Section 508, PDF/UA, and related compliance initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B SaaS sales experience
• Demonstrated success prospecting, developing pipeline, and closing net-new business
• Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
• selling enterprise software or technology solutions
• Experience selling into Higher Education, Government, Healthcare, Financial Services, Publishing, or other regulated industries
• Knowledge of digital accessibility standards and regulations (WCAG, ADA, Section 508, PDF/UA)
