Social Media Marketing Intern

Waresport is hiring a Social Media Marketing Intern to support its online presence and brand awareness. The role focuses on creating and publishing social media content, supporting campaigns, monitoring engagement, and collaborating on digital marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and publishing social media content across platforms
• Assisting in planning and executing social media campaigns
• Monitoring engagement metrics
• Help respond to comments and messages
• Research trends and competitor activity
• Suggest new content ideas aligned with the brand and target audience
• Collaborating with marketing team members on digital initiatives
• Maintaining content calendars
• Preparing basic performance reports to improve future campaigns

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to support campaign planning and execution
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to develop engaging, brand-aligned posts
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact with audiences and collaborate effectively with team members
• Basic understanding of social media analytics tools and platform insights (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) is beneficial
• Ability to write clear, concise copy and adapt tone for different platforms and audiences
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
• Curiosity about sports, technology, or startup environments is a plus
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred but not required
