Lead Salesforce Business Analyst

Grey Parrot Systems is a women-owned, BEP-certified IT services firm delivering AI-first, governance-driven digital transformation for mid-market enterprises. The Lead Salesforce Business Analyst will translate business requirements into functional specifications, lead Salesforce requirements and gap analysis, manage the Jira backlog, support UAT, define reporting needs, and use AI tools to accelerate documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements elicitation across Salesforce workstreams — Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and FSL
• Conduct gap analysis and write detailed functional specifications — configuration, Flows, and integration specs
• Own the Salesforce BA backlog in Jira — epics, user stories, and sprint-ready acceptance criteria
• Support UAT planning and execution with business stakeholders and Salesforce developers
• Define Salesforce reporting requirements — reports, dashboards, and analytics views
• Leverage Claude and AI tools to accelerate requirements documentation and user story generation

Requirements:

• 8+ years of BA experience — 5+ years Salesforce focused
• Deep Salesforce platform knowledge — Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, FSL, and Flows
• Strong requirements elicitation — discovery workshops, process mapping, and stakeholder interviews
• Ability to write accurate Salesforce functional specs — configuration, Flow designs, Apex customization, and integration requirements
• Strong gap analysis — current-state Salesforce assessment vs. business requirements with clear remediation recommendations
• Jira — user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog management
• Excellent stakeholder communication — sales, operations, and technology leadership
• NetSuite knowledge — strong plus: understanding of NetSuite Finance, Procurement, or Billing to support Salesforce-NetSuite integration requirement definition
