Interim Litigation Paralegal – Consumer Claims & Project Management

The consumer finance company is seeking a temporary Interim Litigation Paralegal to support its in-house legal team. The role will coordinate litigation and consumer claim assignments, manage deadlines and case documentation, support communications with counsel and business partners, and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track incoming litigation and consumer claim assignments, prioritizing competing deadlines
• Manage case calendars, docketing, and status reporting across a high volume of active matters
• Process and respond to consumer complaints, demand letters, arbitration filings, and regulatory inquiries
• Draft routine correspondence, discovery responses, subpoena responses, and other litigation documents
• Gather, organize, and review records, account documentation, and evidence for case files and outside counsel
• Act as a point of contact for outside counsel and internal business partners on matter status and document requests
• Keep matter management systems and trackers accurate and current
• Find and put in place process improvements as the team scales

Requirements:

• 5+ years of paralegal experience supporting busy litigation teams (in-house or law firm)
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with a record of carrying assignments through to completion
• Comfortable handling high volume and shifting priorities with attention to detail
• Working knowledge of litigation procedure, e-filing, and matter management tools
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with consumer claims, financial services, or regulated industries preferred
• Paralegal certificate and/or Bachelor's Degree preferred
