Principal Mechanical Engineer

A fast-growing data center developer/operator is hiring a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to shape mechanical engineering strategy and infrastructure for AI and hyperscale data centers. The role includes developing design standards and supporting site selection, campus master planning, and new site development.

Responsibilities:

• Help shape the next generation of AI and hyperscale infrastructure across the US
• Principal-level technical ownership and influence over engineering strategy
• The opportunity to shape mechanical design standards and product development across multiple sites
• A key role in site selection, campus master planning and new site development

Requirements:

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally within data centers or mission-critical environments
• Strong knowledge of critical cooling systems, HVAC controls and data center performance metrics
• Experience reviewing early-stage designs, master plans and technical specifications
• A PE or Chartered Engineering qualification would be advantageous
