Senior Project Manager

Artisan Council is a boutique digital marketing agency that helps progressive brands build loyalty through social media, content, and community engagement. The Senior Project Manager will oversee production projects, manage timelines, budgets, contracts, and deliverables, and coordinate client and cross-functional team relationships to ensure efficient campaign execution.

Responsibilities:

• You will manage project timeline-based status calls and campaign check-ins with cross-functional teams
• You will plan and document all client meetings in a centralized format and location, and follow through by translating client needs into actionable tasks across internal departments
• You will help review and maintain the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of all deliverables across your accounts
• You will anticipate any potential roadblocks and proactively lead problem-solving with internal teams
• You will own client budgets across projects, tracking spend, alignment with scope, and flagging opportunities to optimize based on client needs
• You will be responsible for invoice and contract management, ensuring document review, signatures and payments all remain on schedule
• You will support strategic planning for campaigns – partnering with the Production team to build strategic timelines that integrate resource planning

Requirements:

• 4+ years as a proven project manager, or client-facing role in a production landscape, with a focus on beauty brands, and consumer products
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, including delegation, time management, and the use of tools like Asana or similar platforms
• Deep understanding of all aspects of a social media Production workflow; through all phases of production including on-set stakeholder management
• Proven experience managing social-first campaigns while collaborating with teams to ensure strong performance
• Deep understanding of beauty culture, digital trends, and consumer behavior—with a strong pulse on TikTok, Instagram, and other emerging platforms
• Creative problem-solver with the ability to support brainstorms and contribute thoughtful ideas
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms
• Excellent communication skills – clear, professional, and effective across teams and clients
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and attentive to detail – especially when working under pressure or tight deadlines
• Willing to work flexibly across time zones and go above and beyond when needed
• Ability to research and organize/synthesize information clearly and cleverly
• This position is offered as a remote one, however candidates based in New York who can be present for client meetings upon request, are preferred
• Familiarity with commercial business practices and scopes of work (SOWs) is a plus
