Lead Product Manager, Developer Experience

Fifth Third Bank is a financial services company offering banking and payment solutions. The Lead Product Manager, Developer Experience will own Newline’s public API documentation and Dashboard products, shaping the client developer experience and managing their evolution. The role includes roadmap ownership, feature discovery and execution, cross-functional collaboration, governance, and stakeholder training.

Responsibilities:

• Understand how to build a front-end product off of technical data from the Newline API
• Be an expert in the public-facing API documentation
• Champion the front-end products internally and externally
• Identify opportunities to improve the products and client developer experience through discovery
• Define the team priorities and own the roadmap for the near term and long term
• Decompose features into workable tickets for the development team
• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, operations, implementation, client success, risk, and financial partners across Newline and Fifth Third
• Own feature enablement by managing the governance processes required in order to release features
• Conduct training for stakeholders on newly released features
• Operate responsibly and understand risk in this regulated financial environment
• Support the Product Line Manager and team in various duties to achieve team goals

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or commensurate experience
• 5-7+ years' experience in product management discipline
• Strong product management background
• Strong project management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated success in strategic development and product execution
• Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
• Business acumen and understanding of business processes related to your products and clients
• Understanding of how the front-end products are part of other services clients have purchased from Newline and/or Fifth Third
• Experience working in agile development environment
• Ability to self-motivate and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
