Data Center Virtualization Engineer

Bright Vision Technologies is a technology consulting and software development company delivering cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions across the United States. The company is seeking a Data Center Virtualization Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VMware virtualization, software-defined networking, and software-defined storage platforms across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments, with an emphasis on automation, capacity management, and operational discipline.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization, software-defined networking, and software-defined storage platforms across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments
• Automation, capacity management, and the practical realities of operating a large VMware estate alongside modern cloud-native workloads

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Five or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience
• Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
• Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management
• Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking
• Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation tooling
• Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM
• Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VCAP credentials
• Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS, AVS, or GCVE
• Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Experience with Aria Operations / vRealize Operations
• Exposure to migration programs out of VMware to alternative virtualization platforms
