Senior Data Engineer

Gemburg is seeking a senior forward-deployed engineering professional to lead Databricks implementations in customer environments. The role focuses on building production-grade data pipelines and cloud-native solutions, translating business requirements into scalable technical designs, optimizing Databricks solutions, and providing customer-facing technical leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full-stack Databricks implementations including front-end integration, back-end data engineering, systems integration, technical consulting, and solution architecture
• Build and deploy production-grade data pipelines and cloud-native solutions in customer environments
• Convert ambiguous business requirements into scalable technical designs and reusable implementation patterns
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Databricks solutions while collaborating directly with clients and business stakeholders
• Drive end-to-end delivery, build customer trust, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

• Experience: 12+ Years
• Certification: Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional (Mandatory)
