Quality Assurance Engineer

LearnTastic is an education technology company seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen its product quality and testing processes. The role is responsible for end-to-end manual and automated testing, test planning, defect tracking, workflow validation, and collaboration with Product and Engineering teams, while leveraging AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end manual and automation testing across product features
• Create and maintain structured test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Conduct regression, sanity, functional, and exploratory testing
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude Cowork to improve test coverage, test-case generation, and testing efficiency
• Validate user workflows, UI/UX, functionality, and edge cases
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams throughout the development and release cycles
• Contribute to basic test automation for repetitive and high-priority test cases
• Support the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing
• Strong analytical and structured thinking, with excellent attention to detail
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude Cowork as part of testing workflows
• Basic understanding of automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, Agile practices, and QA best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium using Java and/or JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Experience testing AI-powered applications, chatbots, or conversational interfaces
• Exposure to API testing and tools such as Postman would be an added advantage
