Project Manager

Salas O’Brien is an employee-owned engineering and professional services firm focused on achieving impact for its clients, team, and the world. The Project Manager will support the Home Modernization team by managing program data, reporting, documentation, invoice processing, compliance reviews, and internal auditing activities related to the Inflation Reduction Act.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly and quarterly Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) reporting
• Review IRA documentation approved by implementation staff for compliance with NYSERDA policies
• Pull and analyze records to support detailed federal-level reporting
• Support internal auditing activities and documentation reviews
• Work with multiple data sources to support Home Modernization program implementation
• Assist with invoice processing and related program documentation
• Analyze data to create reports and help evaluate the success of program implementation activities
• Manage assignments and priorities independently while meeting established deadlines
• Perform additional responsibilities that contribute to the key outcomes of the Home Modernization team

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience working with spreadsheets and analyzing data
• Ability to analyze information, identify relevant trends or issues, and translate data into meaningful reports
• Working knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM platform
• Experience or exposure to federal-level reporting and/or internal auditing
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to manage projects and assignments with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deliver work on time
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree

• Previous experience with federal or state grant administration
• Background supporting compliance, auditing, reporting, or program implementation activities
• Experience working in data-intensive environments where accuracy and documentation are critical
