Software Engineer - Contract

Colovore is a provider of ultra-high-density, liquid-cooled AI colocation data centers for AI inference, SuperPod, and AI factory applications. The Software Engineer - Contract will support, maintain, and enhance internal applications, APIs, integrations, and the Bliss infrastructure provisioning and automation platform. The role focuses on software development, application support, troubleshooting, automation, and improving system reliability during a six-month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Support, maintain, and enhance Bliss, Colovore's internal infrastructure provisioning and automation platform
• Develop and implement minor enhancements, bug fixes, and new features for existing internal applications
• Maintain and support backend services, APIs, integrations, and automation workflows
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established development standards
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure continuity of ongoing software projects
• Support and maintain REST APIs and system integrations between internal and third-party platforms
• Assist in developing automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Troubleshoot integration issues and implement enhancements as business needs evolve
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while maintaining system stability
• Identify and address performance issues within application logic, APIs, and integrations
• Implement logging, error handling, and monitoring improvements where appropriate
• Participate in root cause analysis and contribute code fixes to improve application reliability

Requirements:

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go
• Experience working with REST APIs and web services
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and container technologies is a plus
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience
• Experience supporting and enhancing existing web applications or internal software platforms
• Experience developing or maintaining APIs, system integrations, or automation solutions
• Ability to understand and work within an existing codebase with minimal ramp-up time
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience collaborating with infrastructure, operations, and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
