Sales Account Manager - ProGreen

PlayCore is a company focused on innovative play and recreation solutions, and they are seeking a Sales Account Manager to develop new business opportunities in Northern California. The role involves building relationships with various stakeholders, conducting presentations, and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities within the Northern California territory
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, landscape architects, municipalities, schools, developers, and property owners
• Prospect through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and product presentations
• Develop proposals and coordinate with estimating and operations teams
• Negotiate pricing, project scope, and contract terms
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM records
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
• Represent ProGreen at industry functions, trade shows, and networking events
• Achieve or exceed established sales and revenue goals

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of outbound sales experience
• Strong knowledge of artificial turf products, applications, and installation processes
• Proven track record of generating new business and closing sales opportunities
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory
• Must reside within the Northern California region
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
• Experience using CRM software to manage leads, opportunities, and customer relationships
• Ability to prepare proposals, estimates, and sales presentations
• Comfortable using mobile devices, tablets, and cloud-based applications in the field
• Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Teams or Zoom
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, customer-focused approach to sales and relationship management
• Adaptability to changing priorities and territory needs
