GCP Data Engineer

TekValue IT Solutions is seeking a GCP Data Engineer for a long-term remote role. The position focuses on designing and developing cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses using Google Cloud Platform, while supporting batch and real-time data processing, data optimization, security, and governance.

Responsibilities:

• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses
• Knowledge of data modeling, partitioning, clustering, and query optimization
• Experience with batch and real-time data processing
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and data governance
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Storage
• Hands-on experience with Dataflow / Apache Beam
• Hands-on experience with Pub/Sub
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Composer / Airflow
• Hands-on experience with Dataproc / Spark
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses
• Knowledge of data modeling, partitioning, clustering, and query optimization
• Experience with batch and real-time data processing
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and data governance
