UX Engineer / UX Designer

36 months onsite project in Albany NY - ONLY NEED LOCAL CANDIDATES

Seeking an experienced UX Engineer (Level II) to manage a team of junior designers and drive UX strategy. Responsibilities include creating and carrying out user research plans; planning design thinking workshops; creating UX deliverables (wireframes, mockups, prototypes, storyboards, sitemaps); conducting usability testing; working closely with developers to bring designs to life; collecting UX metrics; designing for multi-device web, iOS, and Android contexts; and supporting client strategic initiatives.

Mandatory skills:

Level II: 7+ years of experience on complex projects with 2+ years in a leadership role as a UX Engineer

7+ years of experience in UI/UX engineering on the full life cycle of design deliverables including wireframes, mockups, journey maps, prototypes, story boards, and user surveys

1 2 years working in an Integrated Eligibility System Program in various workstreams in a Health and Human Services setting

Desired skills:

7+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Figma

2 5 years of experience with user research, user modeling, and usability testing

2 5 years of experience with CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
