Specialist Analyst, Business FP&A

Suna Solutions is seeking a Specialist Analyst, Business FP&A to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and day-to-day FP&A activities. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Distribution, and other business teams to provide financial insights and communicate financial information clearly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial analysis and support day-to-day FP&A activities
• Support annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities, including rolling forecasts
• Prepare financial reports, consolidations, variance analysis, and performance commentary
• Identify risks, opportunities, and key drivers impacting forecast accuracy
• Prepare and communicate financial information to business stakeholders and finance partners
• Use data-driven analysis to support business decisions and improve financial performance
• Partner with Distribution teams to collect requirements and support forecast updates
• Provide financial insights and operational support to U.S. Distribution
• Understand key operational drivers related to warehousing, freight, labor, and inventory
• Analyze cost and operational performance and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and resource utilization
• Partner closely with Supply Chain Finance and broader Finance teams
• Support month-end close activities for U.S. Distribution
• Prepare accruals, reclasses, and journal entries as needed
• Investigate financial variances and communicate findings to Finance and business partners
• Support compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial policies
• Build strong working relationships with business and operational stakeholders
• Help explain financial information and concepts to non-finance partners
• Work effectively across global teams and functions
• Quickly learn existing processes, systems, and business relationships and take ownership of assigned responsibilities

Requirements:

• 1+ year of finance experience, with experience as a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst preferred
• Strong understanding of core finance and accounting concepts
• Understanding of financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet concepts
• Exposure to cash flow analysis
• Strong Excel skills and ability to perform hands-on financial analysis
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, or FP&A activities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to business stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred
• Experience with Anaplan or another financial planning and forecasting platform
• Experience with Authority or similar Excel-based reporting/add-in tools
• Experience with Atoti, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics/reporting tools
• FP&A experience supporting Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, or Technical Services
• Supply chain finance experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Experience working closely with operational stakeholders
• Experience with rolling forecasts and financial planning cycles
