We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator & Consultant - Chinese speaking to join our client's team on-site in Malta. This role focuses on managing and growing our client's presence on WeChat and Xiaohongshu (RED) while also handling queries, consultation, and lead nurturing on these platforms. You’ll play a key part in content coordination, basic video creation, and customer interaction, helping to drive brand engagement and support prospective clients throughout their initial journey.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Management (WeChat & Xiaohongshu)

Plan, write, and schedule content for official WeChat and Xiaohongshu accounts.
Manage posting calendar and ensure all content is culturally relevant, compliant, and brand-aligned.
Monitor trends and hot topics on both platforms to keep content fresh and engaging.
Edit and publish short videos, lifestyle visuals, and informative posts to showcase the company's services and Malta’s advantages.

Client Queries & Consultation

Respond to inbound messages, comments, and direct inquiries on WeChat and RED.
Provide accurate and professional information about Malta’s Citizenship and Residency by Investment programs.
Log and qualify potential leads, follow up, and support the advisory team with warm handovers.
Maintain a responsive, courteous, and knowledgeable presence across both platforms.

Content Creation Support

Assist with creating short-form videos or visual stories optimized for RED and WeChat feeds.
Use simple design/video editing tools like CapCut, Canva, or similar software.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with broader campaigns.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

1-3 years of experience in social media, content creation, marketing, or digital communications.
Experience in immigration, luxury services, education, or real estate is a plus.
Strong understanding and experience with WeChat Official Accounts and Xiaohongshu (RED).
Native or fluent in Mandarin Chinese (Simplified); good English communication skills.
Excellent writing and communication skills in Chinese.
Familiar with short video editing tools (CapCut, InShot, etc.)
Confident handling direct customer inquiries with professionalism and care.

EDUCATION

Qualification in marketing.

WORKING TIME

Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 till 17:30 with flexibility in starting time.
