Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on AI Governance Program Manager to establish, operationalize, and continuously improve AI governance processes within a highly regulated financial services environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AI Governance, Program Management, Risk & Compliance, and Technology Controls, with the ability to coordinate business, technology, architecture, legal, privacy, security, risk, and compliance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and refine AI governance frameworks, operating models, RACI, policies, and procedures.
• Own the end-to-end AI use case intake, evaluation, approval, and oversight lifecycle.
• Develop intake templates, review criteria, required artifacts, and governance checkpoints.
• Coordinate risk, legal, privacy, InfoSec, architecture, technology, data, and business reviews.
• Facilitate AI governance forums, steering committees, and approval meetings.
• Prepare agendas, pre-reads, decision materials, meeting minutes, and action items.
• Maintain governance backlogs, approval status, exceptions, waivers, remediation actions, and ownership.
• Maintain detailed decision logs documenting rationale, reviewers, approvals, conditions, and supporting evidence.
• Develop executive-level governance reporting and metrics including intake volume, cycle time, approval rates, bottlenecks, and recurring issues.
• Ensure governance documentation and evidence are audit-ready and support regulatory examinations.
• Drive change management, stakeholder communications, process adoption, and continuous improvement.
