MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Combat Systems Analyst to join our team in Norfolk, VA. This is an onsite position.
This position will be responsible for the scoping, preparing, development, validation, implementation, and life cycle maintenance of Combat Systems for Carrier readiness and Modernization. Responsible for assigned efforts on US Navy CVN ships.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participate in meetings/conferences to provide recommendations and insight concerning CVN Combat Systems readiness
Assist in providing recommendations for CVN policy and procedural changes incident to CVN Combat Systems readiness, outfitting incident to new construction, and new support programs associated with Naval shipboard support
Review the ship’s CSMP, planned C5ISR maintenance, modernization, and repairs for CNO availabilities and maintenance upkeeps
Assist Ship's Force in maintaining C5ISR material readiness and identifying CNO maintenance availability work
Assist in collecting, reviewing, integrating and analyzing historical and current maintenance and combat systems data from aircraft carrier sources as required in order to develop statistical, graphical and text analysis of equipment reliability and maintenance trends
Analyze weekly C5ISR status reports during CNO availabilities and monthly C5ISR status reports, including modernization planning, to outside CNO availabilities
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent education
10+ years of experience with Navy combat systems and C5ISR (or similar) supporting maintenance, modernization, and repairs on U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers.
Prior experience working with naval crew, as well as independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Distance support and onboard C5ISR repair issues and coordination with ISEAs and warfare center to track material parts status
C5ISR ICAVs, reviewing findings and making recommendations to TYCOM, CSO, Ship’s CSMO and Ship’s Maintenance Officer
10+ years of technical, management, development and integration experience with aircraft carrier combat systems requirements
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain active or current Secret or security clearance
Will be required to obtain an interim secret security clearance before starting
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
