United Way Miami is hiring a Resource Teacher I to join our team. As a Resource Teacher I, you will be Responsible for providing programmatic support to practitioners, children, and families enrolled in the center. Assists the Center Director with the implementation of state regulatory guidelines and Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards.

Classroom Support
Collaborate with classroom staff in the development of lesson plans, anecdotal observations, and screenings

Requirements
Education Requirements: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related education field required. Candidates with a related education degree must have a minimum of 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE/EEC). The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) 45-hour Child Care Training must be completed within 90 days of employment if not already obtained. Fifteen (15) hours of annual in-service training are required to maintain compliance. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Experience Requirements: Two or more years of experience working in an early childhood education setting preferred.
Technology Requirements: Knowledge of modern web browsers, Intermediate Word, Beginning Excel, and Beginning Outlook.
Other Essential Knowledge/Skills: Flexibility. Understand concepts around Visible Thinking, Multiple Intelligences, Dual Language, Inclusion, Early Literacy strategies, and Reflective Supervision.
