Data Platform Automation Engineer, IQVIA Digital

IQVIA is a leading global provider of data and analytics solutions for the life sciences industry. The Data Platform Automation Engineer will design, develop, and implement scalable software and business process automation solutions to enhance platform efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Designs/develops software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs and requirements using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise
• Works at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development
• Analyzes and evaluates code issues and makes decisions within general parameters under broad supervision
• Leads projects and programs within own organization with moderate complexity and scope
• Focuses on software quality standards for all aspects of work; establishes advanced software test standards and methods and conducts complex software tests
• Performs code reviews and optimization of existing queries
• May assist in on-boarding new Software Engineers to the team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Python development experience
• Strong experience in building productionized AI tools/pipelines for data validation, anomaly detection, or automated reporting
• SQL (complex queries, stored procedures)
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical data
• Experience with Orchestration tools (ex Automic)
