Project Manager

HMG AMERICA LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery for wealth management, trust, and custody platforms. The role owns customer enhancements, custom development, upgrades, data conversions, and platform migrations from initiation through go-live while coordinating stakeholders, testing, governance, compliance, and post-go-live stabilization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of customer enhancements, custom development, upgrades and version migrations on wealth management platforms
• Plan and run platform migrations and data conversions, including legacy-to-target mapping, mock conversions, reconciliation and cutover
• Translate customer requirements into scoped work packages, working with business analysts, product SMEs and technical teams
• Build and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource plans, and track delivery against milestones
• Manage scope, change requests, and risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID). Escalate early and drive resolution
• Coordinate across onsite and offshore teams, product vendors and client stakeholders, including operations, trust officers, IT and compliance
• Oversee testing cycles (SIT, UAT, regression and parallel runs) and release and deployment readiness
• Run governance cadences such as status reports, steering committee updates and executive readouts
• Ensure delivery meets the client's SDLC, change management, audit and regulatory standards
• Support post-go-live stabilization and the hand-off to production support

Requirements:

• 10+ years in IT project or program management, including 5+ years in wealth management, trust, custody or private banking
• Proven delivery of product upgrades, platform migrations and custom enhancement programs on wealth or trust platforms
• Strong domain knowledge of trust and portfolio accounting, custody, fee billing, corporate actions, income processing, reconciliation and client reporting
• Experience managing data conversions and multi-phase cutovers in a regulated financial services environment
• Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery, with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project or Smartsheet
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior client leadership
• Experience leading distributed, onsite and offshore teams
• Comfortable with both the business side (trust operations, accounting) and the technical side (interfaces, data, environments)
• Structured and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of delivery ownership
• Able to manage competing customer priorities and keep enhancement backlogs moving
• Hands-on project experience with Wealth products such as Global Plus, AddVantage, Trust Desk or Charlotte
• Experience with other wealth or trust platforms such as SEI, InvestCloud, Avaloq, Temenos WealthSuite or SS&C
• Background in bank trust departments, wealth managers or asset servicing firms
• PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or SAFe certification
• Exposure to cloud hosting or infrastructure modernization of wealth platforms
