AWS DevOps Engineer

Harmony Healthcare IT is a data management firm that moves and stores patient, employee, and business records for healthcare organizations. The AWS DevOps Engineer designs, automates, secures, and supports AWS cloud environments and CI/CD platforms, with responsibilities spanning infrastructure as code, cloud operations, security, observability, deployment automation, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and support AWS infrastructure across Development, QA, and Production environments
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, including reusable modules and standardized deployments
• Administer AWS IAM, networking, encryption, authentication, and secrets management while enforcing security best practices and least-privilege access
• Support cloud platforms and services including RDS, Glue, Athena, CloudWatch, and related operational tooling
• Develop automation solutions using Python and Git-based workflows
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, reliability, and observability
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and cloud platform issues
• Participate in on-call support and other assigned duties
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience administering AWS cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, encryption, monitoring, and cloud security principles
• Experience supporting AWS services including RDS, EKS, Aurora, Glue, Athena, and CloudWatch
• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, including reusable modules and state management
• Proficiency with Python scripting, Git source control, and CI/CD automation
• Ability to diagnose and resolve production cloud infrastructure issues
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud technologies
• 2+ years of professional experience using Terraform in production environments
• Speaking and writing English is a requirement for this position
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
