Mechanical Engineer

Intellectt Inc is seeking a proactive Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering team. The role involves supporting senior engineers across the full product lifecycle, assisting with CAD modeling, design verification, prototyping, and technical documentation for complex mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Create and update 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using tools like SolidWorks, Creo, or NX
• Perform basic structural, thermal, and tolerance stack-up calculations to validate design ideas
• Support hands-on assembly, physical testing, and root-cause troubleshooting for engineering prototypes
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and test reports in compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality, and project management to ensure seamless project delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related discipline from an accredited university
• 0–2 years of professional, co-op, or internship experience in mechanical design
• Hands-on experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, PTC Creo, Siemens NX, or CATIA)
• Solid understanding of core principles (statics, dynamics, materials science, thermodynamics)
• Basic familiarity with GD&T standards (ANSI/ASME)
• Strong analytical problem-solving, clear communication, and an eager-to-learn mindset
