Purpose
As a HR Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the People Team through high-quality HR administration, data management, and project coordination. You will be the first point of contact for team member HR queries, while gaining broad exposure across recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and HR systems. This role will provide a strong foundation in HR operations within a fast-paced, values-driven retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the first point of contact for team member HR queries, providing timely and professional support.
· Support the administration of the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, and leaver processes.
· Assist with recruitment activities including job postings, candidate communication, interview coordination, and onboarding documentation.
· Promote recruitment campaigns through internal platforms and external tools such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Indeed.
· Support Learning & Development coordination including calendar management, communications, and attendance tracking.
· Maintain Core HR systems by updating employee data, unlocking user access, and supporting digital governance processes.
· Manage team member swipe card and access setup, including EPOS training authorisations.
· Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal audit guidelines in all HR data handling and records management.
· Assist the HR Information Specialist and HRBPs on ad-hoc projects and system administration.
· Maintain a professional and welcoming front-of-house environment in the People Team office.
· Contribute to key HR-led initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support the People strategy.
