Project Manager, Operations and Systems

H&R Block is a leader in the tax industry, committed to providing help and inspiring confidence in clients and communities. The Project Manager, Operations and Systems role focuses on supporting operational excellence through project management, systems administration, and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support multiple projects, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and key milestones
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide insights into operational performance and trends
• Support Salesforce and other business systems, including updates, troubleshooting, and user support
• Assist with the implementation and testing of a new CRM platform for tickets, chats, and calls
• Coordinate testing efforts in secure environments, validating functionality and ensuring security requirements are met
• Manage and support integrations between various business systems and tools
• Provide real-time support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for automation tools and bots
• Document processes and help train team members on system and automation best practices
• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group; ability to lead in a matrix environment and at a distance (virtually)
• Demonstrated decision making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated effectiveness in presenting complex information to multiple organizational levels, with strong facilitation and presentation skills
• 3 years minimum related work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and product planning tools
• Familiarity with Project Management methodologies
• Track record of establishing priorities and deadlines
• Experience managing projects from start to finish
• Experience in a consulting environment
• Experience with data, reporting and dashboarding
• PMP certification, or equivalent, or completed work towards PMP certification, or equivalent
• Some tax or financial background
