Product Manager

MoneyFinder is a for-profit venture of WorkMoney, a nonprofit dedicated to lowering costs for working Americans. They are seeking a Product Manager to own product direction for their platform, responsible for product roadmap, prioritization, and coordination with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product roadmap and prioritization, and document the rationale supporting prioritization decisions
• Translate product concepts and test hypotheses into written specifications and user stories suitable for engineering execution
• Define product metrics, ensure appropriate instrumentation, and interpret the resulting data
• Design and execute product experiments from hypothesis through result and subsequent product decision
• Report on funnel performance and core metrics on an established cadence, escalating risks in advance of impact
• Direct the work of an external development vendor in the absence of formal reporting authority, through written requirements and consistent follow-up
• Apply AI development tools, including Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, to build and evaluate internal tooling and to assess the work of others

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of direct product ownership. Project management, program management, and design experience do not satisfy this requirement independent of demonstrated product ownership
• Demonstrated experience instrumenting a product, executing an experiment, and adjusting product direction on the basis of the result
• Experience with consumer-facing products, including direct exposure to user behavior in a production environment
• Regular working use of AI development tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex
• Demonstrated ability to operate with ambiguity across concurrent responsibilities
• Strong organizational discipline and reliability across parallel workstreams
• Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to hold senior stakeholders and external vendors accountable to commitments
• Direct-to-consumer product experience
• Consumer finance, fintech, or bill and subscription savings experience
• Demonstrated ownership of growth or customer acquisition initiatives
• Early-stage or 0-to-1 product experience
• Familiarity with Asana, Mixpanel, PostHog, Google Workspace, and Slack
