System Engineer L3

Jovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a System Engineer Level 3 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. 

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required to be considered.

Requirements

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.

• Six (6) years of systems engineering experience 
• A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university. 

OR 

• (U) A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any  Process Area). 

OR 

•  (U) A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2)  from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience 

OR 

•  (U) A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an  accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience. 

• Strong System Engineering and System Administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Security Compliance
• Strong knowledge of networking devices. (Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
• Strong System Administration skills for Windows/Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky) 
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization
• Experience with Acitve Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, Network Services
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and patching
• Communication and escalation of issues to management

 *(U) Note 1 – Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management. Similar or comparable degrees will be acceptable.
